About Aria

Hey, I'm Aria and I'm obsessed with clothes and shopping, it's a very big passion of mine. I'm a shoe fanatic and I currently own over 80 pairs and counting. My dream job would be either a visual merchandiser or an image consultant because I love putting together looks and dressing people. I feel like clothes can really make or break a person and the way you look can say a lot of things about someone. I have my Bachelor's degree in Fashion Marketing and Management and I can't wait for the day that I can finally say all my hard work at school paid off. Many different things inspire me when it comes to style, whether it be celebrities and entertainment or things apart of my everyday life. I believe that overall personal style is something that has no limits. I would say that my own personal style is very eclectic. I love mixing new and fun styles with classic, always stylish pieces. I like to try out trends but I try not to let my style become over powered by them. I'm also very big on bargain shopping! From a very young age it was something that my mother taught me all about. Being that I'm still living at home, trying to save money and still trying to land my dream career its very important for me not to go overboard with spending, which is a problem that I've had in the past that I'm paying for today. So with that being said I love mixing some of my more expensive pieces with things I've found in bargain or consignment stores. One of my favorite things is trying to look like a million bucks without coming close to spending that, which is one of the main things I would like to focus on in this blog.

Aside from fashion I am also big on being health conscious including watching what I eat and making sure that I have time to work out. I don't eat meat, occasionally eat seafood and stay away from junk food. The changes I've made in my diet have not only allowed me to shed a couple pounds, but also helped me to become more educated about what I am putting in my body allowing me to feel better about myself. I'm not going to lie though, I've have my slip-ups where I may over indulge or eat things that I know I shouldn't but eating better is something I'm constantly working towards. I'm also a huge foodie and love trying new and exotic cuisine. Trying food from different cultures is both an exciting and exhilarating experience that I love to share with my family and friends.

Being that I love food I have also made it a point to make sure that I incorporate exercise in my weekly routine. It's definitely a part of a healthy lifestyle. Growing up I was never necessarily athletic so it makes me happy to say that I am currently in the best shape I have ever been. I'm still working harder towards it, as it is a process and not just something that happens over night. Not too long ago, my sister introduced me to yoga and now I'm obsessed. I wouldn't say I'm doing any extremely advanced poses yet but I'm working on it, and I'm definitely in the intermediate stages. At the moment I currently work out three to four times a week but I'm not yet satisfied and I am trying really hard to up that to five times a week which is also something I'd like to chronicle in this blog. And these are just a few of my interests and the basis of what this blog is all about. I hope you enjoy what you are reading and my sister and I would love your comments/feedback/suggestions!
